The Horenstein-Katz Auxiliary supports humanitarian services in Israel and in the United States. Among the recipients of the funds collected are the Veterans Hospital at Wood, Wis.; the Rest and Recreation Center in Beersheba, Israel; The Veterans Hospital in Tel Hashomer, Israel; and the Chaim Sheba Medical Center, as well as many accredited national fund drives in the United States. Volunteers work at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Wood, where they assist Jewish patients to observe religious services and holidays and to participate in welfare and recreational programs for all patients. We are also members and support the National Museum of American Jewish Military History.
