Located in Waukesha, Congregation Emanu-El, established in 1939, is a synagogue that serves the growing Jewish population of the western suburbs and the metropolitan Milwaukee area. Our members come from a wide geographic area, including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington and Jefferson counties. Even as we have grown to more than 115 families, we have maintained the warmth that makes this congregation “home” to one large family.
Shabbat services are conducted every Friday night at 7 p.m., and holiday services are held at the synagogue. We have a full religious school for students from kindergarten through confirmation, an active adult education program, social programs, social action, intergenerational education, choir and more. We are the center of Jewish life in Waukesha County and welcome all who wish to participate with us.
